Automated Patient Notifications is a Workpath feature that sends automatic messages to your patients to keep them updated about their appointments so there are no scheduling miscommunications.
When enabled, your patients will receive a series of email and text communications leading up to their scheduled appointment. Our patient notification series is a proven method for raising patient compliance rates.
**The Automated Patient Notifications feature can only be turned on by an Account Administrator.
How to send Automated Patient Notifications once enabled
Create an appointment.
Enter the patient's contact email and phone number in the patient information area.
Save the appointment.
What notifications will my patients receive?
1. Your patients will receive a confirmation email and text message when their appointment is first scheduled.

Thanks for scheduling you appointment. Let's get started!

Example Confirmation Text:
Hello, we've confirmed your visit at [Address] on [Date] at [Time]. If you'd like to make any changes, call us at [Your Company Phone]. Please do not reply to this text message.
2. Your patients will receive a text message when their Mobile User confirms they're On the Way to the appointment in their mobile app. This text message will include a link that allows the patient to track the Mobile User and view estimated arrival time.
