Appointment statuses allow your team to track what's happening with every appointment in real-time. As soon as an appointment progresses to the next status (via prompting from a User on the web platform or in the mobile app), the appointment's status will automatically update on your Dashboard. You'll see each appointment status on the Dashboard, or you can click on the appointment for a closer look.
The below video demonstrates how the Workpath web platform and mobile app interact in real-time to ensure you have access to the most up to date appointment information.
Here's a breakdown of each status and what it represents:
The appointment is waiting on additional information prior to being sent to Labor Providers or Mobile Users. Required information is address, start date/time, patient name and phone number, and Services.
The appointment was sent to third party labor providers and is awaiting one of the Labor Providers to claim the appointment on their Workpath dashboard. Once the appointment is claimed, the claiming Labor Provider’s name will appear in the “Service Organization” status.
The appointment was sent to eligible Mobile Users who can view the appointment on the “Incoming Opportunities” tab of their Workpath app. For a published appointment to be visible in the app, the appointment must have a start/date time, address, service and patient information. The appointment will only be sent to Mobile Users who have open availability at the start time, are within the drive radius of the appointment address, have all required authorization tags, and have no conflicting appointments based on start time.
The appointment has been accepted by a Mobile User through the Workpath app or has been manually assigned to a Mobile User via the Workpath Dashboard. The Mobile User can view the appointment on the “My Schedule” tab of their Workpath app.
Ready for Appointment
The Mobile User has reviewed the appointment details and verified they have all necessary supplies for the appointment via the Workpath app.
On the Way
The Mobile User is on their way to the appointment address. The Workpath app calculates estimated mileage, arrival time, and route which are all visible in real-time on the appointment page in the Workpath Dashboard.
The Mobile User has arrived at the appointment address. The Workpath app calculates the actual mileage, arrival time, and route which are all visible in real-time on the appointment page in the Workpath Dashboard.
The Mobile User has started the appointment and is actively performing the protocol laid out for each of these Services ordered. If the Services have steps, this is when the Mobile User is required to walk through each of the Steps. The Mobile User cannot mark the appointment complete until each step has been performed.
The Mobile User is in the process of shipping the materials collected during the appointment. The Mobile User is required to enter the shipping ID or scan the bar code prior to completing the appointment.
The Mobile User has performed all required Steps in the Workpath app and updated the appointment to “Complete”.
The appointment was canceled by an Office User and is no longer visible in the Workpath app.
